Introduction To Homebrewing 2016 Class Schedule

 
This class is designed for the new brewer who has not yet made their own beer, or is a fairly new brewer looking to pick up some new tips and tricks of homebrewing.  In the 3 hour class, we will cover the basics of brewing beer from Malt Extract with some additional steeping grains, and adding fresh hops.  The class will follow a recipe, brewing a beer from start to finish so that the student has a better understanding of the process before heading home to brew their very own!

Please be advised of the following:
  • The cost of the Class is $20.
  • Classes typically run approximatley 3 hours.
  • Each class must have a minimum of 5 students to be conducted. We will notify you in advance should any rescheduling issues occur.
  • If for any reason, you cannot make the class, please notify us as soon as possible to reschedule.  Cancellations within 24 hours of class time are subject to forfeiture of class fee.  NO REFUNDS will be given for no shows.

All Grain Brewing 2016 Class Schedule

The All Grain Class is for those wanted to learn about the process of making beer completely from scratch.  This process is referred to as "All Grain Brewing".  In the class we will take you through the steps of All Grain Brewing, producing a beer from start to finish and explaining what equipment one would need to get into All Grain Brewing.  We cover the mashing process and it's different methods and techniques, discussing the benefits of each and when they might be applied.  Next we will cover the sparging process and how to get the best possible efficiency in doing so.  We then will proceed with a full wort boil and demonstrate the use of a wort chiller and finalize with a discussion on fermentation.
